 Banned in Texas

Fallen Angel Reviews

Dialogue is one of the strongest features of Banned in Texas. It is so believable that the reader can almost hear every word as it’s spoken. Characters leap off the pages. They feel real, with issues that anyone could have in their lives. I cared about Angie and felt her determination to find a new position in town. I felt her attraction for Cole as well, and the temptation his attention brought to her. Sylvie Kaye has written a good, solid story that is well worth the time it takes to read it. Banned in Texas is sure to please!

The Romance Studio Review

This was a fabulous story with a very interesting plot. It was well developed and had everything anyone could possibly look for in a novel. The sparks between Cole and Angela never had time to smolder. They would simply ignite regardless of the situation. Ms. Sylvie Kay certainly has a tremendous ability to create attention-grabbing characters and establish amazing sensual scenes which were ‘to-die-for.’ It seemed as if Ms. Kay had implanted oversized magnets within the bodies of her main characters and, whether or not they wanted to, they simply were drawn together.

Ms. Kaye’s secondary characters supported these two very well. Their actions and abilities were also well developed. This book had a fresh new plot set in a small town. It helped generate an original story which was hard to put down. I absolutely loved this book and wished for more when it ended. I highly recommend that you read this book. It will be well worth the efforts!

Coffee Time Romance Review

Banned in Texas is spicy, full of pizzazz and a budding romance that slowly escalates beautifully. I loved the banter between the refreshing characters of Cole and Angie. They carry the reader into wonderful smothering moments that are crafted nicely. Sylvie Kaye gives strength to Cole and Angie as they fight their feelings for the other. This classy read is well-written and had this reader screaming for Angie and Cole to get together. With a multitude of secondary characters that add depth to the storyline, this interesting story is great.

The Devil in Cowboy Boots

Devil in Cowboy Boots is a very hot, sexy read that will draw you in from the first page to the last.  The heat between Mercy and Spence is so instantaneous and combustible, you’ll be grabbing for some ice.  The characters are very believable and well developed and blending in secondary characters and a secondary plot makes this story all the more delicious.   This is the first book I’ve ever read by Sylvie Kaye, but it certainly won’t be the last.  She has a way of combining humor, intrigue and sensual delights to keep the reader entertained from start to finish!  I’m positive you won’t be disappointed at any time!

Fallen Angel Reviews

Sylvie Kaye packs many sexual experiences, romance, deception, friendship, and wraps it all up within the last few chapters brilliantly. Sylvie’s characters have substance and the story flows so well, entangling all of the many elements very seamlessly. The Devil in Cowboy Boots is a well rounded read with a beautiful end. I’m a sucker for happy endings. If you are too, do not miss Sylvie Kaye’s The Devil in Cowboy Boots.

Nobody's Angel Reviews

Nobody's Angel is a heaven-sent blend of romance and humor guaranteed to have the reader falling in love.

Romance and Friends

Nobody's Angel is a fast paced, sexy, character driven story full of witticisms and insight. Krista is her own woman, although as her best friend wisely points out, she may be doing some living for her mother. Regardless, she knows what she wants from life and she is not willing to compromise. Dirk is a tough man who has suffered some losses and feels very strongly as a result of that past. At times, he stubbornly clings to those feelings, and even though he deserves the slap he received (and maybe more), that tenacity gives him an air of realism. Dirk and Krista are each other's angels and nobody else's.
